Here is a detailed view of what CAFM Services can do for your company:

llustrate Space Allocation

Input Cost Center and/ or Department Name information for each space. Report on data for each department and color-code floor plan drawings to represent Allocation of Space by department or by space type. Color-coded spaces on the floor plan are automatically updated as Cost Center and Department information changes in the database.

Space Charge Back

Use Space Allocation data to report usage of space by department, including pro-rating shared areas and assigning costs per square foot to enable space to be charged back to departments.

Vacancy Review

Color-coded floor plan drawings clearly indicate vacant occupiable spaces and vacant support spaces. These drawings become invaluable aids toward achieving efficient space usage.

Move Management Resources

CAFM data on Vacant, Occupied, and Available Space, by report and by geographical representation, makes strategic planning easier.

Furniture Standards Designation

Furniture and panel configurations are designated and categorized. The standardization facilitates the future selection of furniture and aids in strategic planning.

Asset Valuation

Asset specifications, pricing and current condition data are recorded in the database and are used to produce detailed Asset reports.

Asset Location Tracking

Recorded in the database are the important asset location data records, usually from an electronic survey of bar-coded assets. The adjusted location designations of assets as moves and retirements of assets occur are recorded. New assets are added to the database. Reporting is available for all assets by type and location or by any other fields in the system.

Generate Asset Depreciation Schedules

Plan and assign rates for depreciation, write-off and retirement of assets for tax evaluation and cost forecasting.

Move Cost Benchmarking

Assign costs per move task to generate reporting capability for comparative industry benchmarking and study toward process streamlining.

Churn Management Resources

The reporting of Churn Statistics is made possible by record keeping within the CAFM system. Examples of records that can be kept are: move frequency by department, move frequency by employee, and seasonal moves.

Disaster Recovery Planning

Asset records with pricing establish asset values. A record of asset deployment and departmental use aids in setting up temporary business recovery space or planning replacement space.

Aids Monitoring of Fire Code Compliance

Record Fire Warden deployment and special needs employees in the CAFM database to provide reporting and visual representation of readiness.

Ergonomics Records Keeping

Record reports of ergonomic issues to determine problem spots and provide a historical record of the issue’s resolution.

Telecom and Cabling Management Resources

Future planning and the day-to-day management of resources are enhanced by the availability of CAFM data outlining location and use of telecom and cabling installations.
